BBC Radio 6 Music has joined forces with The Great Escape festival in Brighton to champion and promote upcoming artists. Coverage includes:

• Steve Lamacq's show live from the festival hub in Jubilee Square - Thursday 18 and Friday 19 May, 4-7pm.
• Lauren Laverne's show live from the festival hub in Jubilee Square - Friday 19 May, 10am-1pm.
• Further highlights from Tom Ravenscroft (Friday 19 May, 9pm to midnight), Mary Anne Hobbs (Saturday 20 May, 7-10am) and Tom Robinson (Saturday 20 May, 9pm to midnight).

6 Music Recommends also hosted a special showcase at the Paganini Ballroom on Thursday 18 May, featuring live music from:
