BBC Symphony Chorus Open Rehearsal - Privacy Notice
The BBC Symphony Chorus will process the personal information you provide for the purposes of contacting you regarding your participation at the Open Rehearsal on 3 October 2025 and for any relevant administration regarding your participation. We will process any medical or health information you provide in order to make access arrangements that you will require.
Personal information you provide will be processed on the BBC’s legitimate interests in interacting with individuals who express an interest in its activities. Where we process your personal information for our legitimate interests, we will carefully consider and balance our interests in processing your data against any impact on your individual rights and freedoms and will not use your personal information where such impact overrides your interests. Special category data such as medical or health information will be processed on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting bbcsc@bbc.co.uk.
The BBC Symphony Chorus will retain your information at least until after you have attended the open rehearsal on 3 October 2025. If you are not interested in applying for an audition to join the Chorus following the open rehearsal, your information will then be deleted. If you are interested in applying for an audition, further privacy information will be provided to you at that point before your information is used for those purposes.
