A look at London's Hayward Gallery, one of the six Museum of the Year finalists.
The Hayward Gallery on London's South Bank was one of the six contenders for the title of Museum of the Year 2014.
It is one of the world's most adventurous and innovative contemporary art galleries and enjoyed a landmark 2013, exhibiting work rarely seen in the UK and from neglected areas of art.
Light Show attracted 190,000 visitors to the Hayward's stark 1960s structure - many of them who had never visited the gallery before.
The gallery also curated a series of touring exhibitions around the country, including All That Is Solid Melts Into Air, put together by artist Jeremy Deller.
