James Bay - BRIT Awards Critics' Choice 2015
In November 2012 James Bay created a BBC Introducing account and now, just over two years later, he is the winner of the prestigious BRIT Awards 2015: Critics' Choice Award.
Since releasing his debut EP The Dark of the Morning in 2013, he has secured support slots with Tom Odell, Hozier and... The Rolling Stones!
We've loved him since day one. Join us as we relive his meteroic rise...

Hailing from Hitchin in Hertfordshire, James added Move Together to the Introducing Uploader in November 2012 and his talent was picked up by BBC Introducing... in Beds, Herts and Bucks soon afterwards.
Just three months later (and with the help of BBC Introducing no less!) James' track Let It Go was added to the Radio 1 Playlist.
Read all about it on the BBC Introducing Blog.

And then this happened...
Guess who was asked to step in?!
And we're glad he did... Check out this stunning cover.
Shortly after, he started trending worldwide #obvs

But, still found time to thank BBC Introducing (what a guy!)
In November 2014, he went on to play TWO sessions in a week! The first one was with Dermot O'Leary on BBC Radio 2.

The second was with Zane Lowe at Maida Vale!

Following a sensational year, it's no surprise that James Bay has been added to the BBC Sound of 2015 Longlist.
