Recruiting Members
Once you’ve got the go-ahead from your boss you need to recruit colleagues to your newly formed choir.
Every company will have different ways of communicating with their staff so find out about the best ways to reach as many employees as possible. You might have a communication manager who can help, but remember everyone is inspired in different ways so a combination of high-tech and low-tech promotion will probably reach and appeal to a larger number of people.

Use the downloadable Recruitment Poster - or this Welsh version - which you can print out and put up around your work space. Display them everywhere so that your colleagues don’t have the excuse of not knowing about the choir. Places where people congregate or use often are a good idea. Try by the kettle, in the toilets, on noticeboards, near the photocopiers and printers or in the stationery cupboard, just to name a few.
If you work for a small firm that doesn’t employ enough people to create your own choir, you could talk to your local business associations. They may be willing to help by using their networks to find out if there are other small firms interested in forming a joint choir.
