Rikki represented the UK for Eurovision in Brussels, Belgium in 1987 with "Only the Light".

The Glaswegian singer-songwriter, real name Richard Peebles, finished 13th with 47 points for the UK.

The song lost out to Ireland's 172 points song "Hold Me Now", sung by Johnny Logan.
