Calling all budding filmmakers! Into Film needs you
Film is an art form that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. It's also something with which children and young people can connect with and unlock their own creativity.
Education charity Into Film – a Get Creative champion - is inviting 5-19 year-olds across the UK to get creative and try their hand at filmmaking with its new Film of the Month competition.
If you need some inspiration watch the winner of the National Youth Film Festival Awards, Be a Little Boulder, by Tendring Primary School and Signals Media, Essex.

Be a little boulder
Once upon a time there was a lonely, grubby, dull little rock called Clint.
Launching in May, this will be an open competition running throughout the year.
There are no restrictions on themes or genres so you can submit any film you like at any time – including animation, documentary and live action. Films can cover a range of themes, topics and personal stories.
Films will be judged for their creativity and content as well as their technical ability.
The winning filmmaker(s) each month will receive a goody bag, have their film showcased on the Into Film YouTube channel and be interviewed for the charity’s website.
For details of how to enter, the complete how to series and to download Into Film's Filmmaking Guides for guidance on everything from equipment, production and filming through to sound, editing and post production, visit Into Film.
