Child's play for authors

Here are some of Britain’s favourite authors as you’ve never seen them before. Anthony Horowitz, Michael Rosen and Cressida Cowell are among a host of writers dressed as children's characters.

The authors are in costume as the characters they loved as children for the 26 Characters exhibition at The Story Museum in Oxford. It is featured in a special children's literature edition of Open Book on Sunday 29 June.

With guests Philip Pullman, Katherine Rundell and David Fickling, Mariella Frostrup explores what makes Oxford the city of Aslan, Lyra, Bilbo, Alice and many others.
