Billie Marten – Mice
This track appeared online last week and it’s the first we’ve heard from Billie since releasing debut album Writing Of Blues and Yellows in 2016. This track was apparently written on a miserable day in Cornwall last year. “I felt sort of empty and lacking a lot of purpose. ‘Mice’ came out of that sentiment which is why the drums are so lethargic and lazy. The chorus though, reflects how last year I didn’t know who to ‘imitate’. It seemed there was only good and bad people in black and white; I was the anomaly in the middle.”

Georgia Anne Muldrow – Aerosol
This is the latest signing to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label (Thundercat, Kamasi Washington) and comes from her new album Overload which is out 26th October. She’s an L.A based singer and producer and her fans include Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest and Mos Def. We’ve been playing her track Overload on the show previously, so excited to hear more from this one.

BADBADNOTGOOD ft. Little Dragon – Tried
A fantastic collaboration which appeared online this week and is out via Ninja Tune. BADBADNOTGOOD says: “We've all been big fans of Little Dragon for years, and had a chance to play some shows and hang out with them recently, which led to this collaboration. They're a truly captivating and unique group of musicians, and we're really excited to share this song with them and hope to work together again in the future!” Little Dragon are no strangers to collaborations, having already worked with Kendrick Lamar, Little Simz and loads more

The Chemical Brothers – Free Yourself
Hot off the press this week, it’s the first we’ve heard from them since 2016’s release C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L.There’s no word of a new album, but with their sold out shows at London’s Alexandra Palace coming up, we’re sure to be hearing more music from the iconic duo.
