Sir Ray Davies

A man who needs very little introduction, Sir Ray Davies is one of Britain's most prolific, and best-loved songwriters. His music has provided a soundtrack to the past 40 years from You Really Got Me, through Waterloo Sunset, and Sunny Afternoon recorded with his band The Kinks, to a solo career including his latest album, Americana, released in April. What better way could there be to bring an end to festivities in Hyde Park than a headline set from such a musical legend.
Steps

After rising to prominence in the late '90s and early '00s with a string of boogie-tastic pop hits, Steps are back with a new album, Tears On The Dancefloor. They'll be playing a selection of their fantastic songs to get Hyde Park dancing - it'll be far from a "Tragedy"!
Sir Bryn Terfel

With one of the best known singing voices in the world, Sir Bryn Terfel's bass-baritone will be lighting up Hyde Park. Expect a crowd-pleasing selection from his extensive repertoire which includes operatic favourites, musical theatre and Welsh song.
Texas

Since emerging from the Glasgow music scene in the late 1980s, Texas have had a string of hits across three decades, including their breakout 1989 hit I Don't Want a Lover and 1997's Say What You Want. In 2017 they're back with a new album - Jump On Board - and we're ready to do just that as we welcome them to Hyde Park.
Gilbert O'Sullivan

One of the finest singer-songwriters of his generation, the fabulous Gilbert O'Sullivan will be entertaining Hyde Park with choice numbers from his 50 year career. His much loved songbook includes huge UK hits such as Alone Again (Naturally), Clair and Get Down.
Elaine Paige

Elaine Paige is a national treasure both for her illustrious singing and acting career and since 2004 for her hugely popular Radio 2 show, Elaine Paige On Sunday. But it's the former she'll be bringing to Proms In The Park as she performs classic showtunes from some of the biggest musicals.
