A replica of the college's great hall featured in the movie was built in the studio one and a half times bigger than the original. Tourism at Christ Church and to Oxford has risen by around 40% purely because of the Harry Potter movies. On this unique occasion - to raise money for Children In Need - the tour was done in costume complete with an owl and a steam train to take visitors from Oxford station to Didcot to carry on the fun.
