For di negotiating table, goment promise to pay di lecturers dem dia salary but beg dem make dem resume first - but di lecturers say no alert no school.

Dem say make goment no expect dem to resume work without releasing dia salary.

Di Union bin complain say goment bin withhold dia salary sake of say dem refuse to join di IPPIS pay system wey goment introduce.

"E dey important to know say government dey owe our members the arrears of unpaid full salaries for all federal universities from July 2020 to October 2020 (four months); arrears of unpaid salaries to some members for University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU) and some Federal Universities from February 2020 to June 2020 (five months)," ASUU zonal coordinator, Olusiji Sowande yan.
