    Nigeria electoral commission say dem no go conduct supplementary elections for di presidential and national assembly elections along wit di govnorship and state assembly elections wey go happun on Saturday 18 March.

    Di Indepenent National Electoral Commission release press statement on dia Twitter page to address tori wey dem say bin dey fly upandan say dem go do di supplementary elections along wit di govnorship ones on Saturday.

    Di commission say dem neva schedule di date wey dem go conduct di supplementary elections and dem go announce am afta di govnorship and state assembly elections.

    But Inec go on further to make am clear say dis supplementary elections dey different from di two national assembly elections wey dem bin suspend before but reschedule to hold along wit di govnorship elections.

    Dis two elections, Inec say, “dem no be supplementary but main elections wey bin no fit hold earlier.”

    Two elections, Enugu East Senatorial District elections and di Esan Central/Esan East/Igueben Federal Constituency election for Edo state bin dey suspended for different reasons.

    For Enugu, Inec suspend di election to allow Labour Party to replace im candidate for di Enugu East Senatorial District, wey dia shortly before di elections.

    And for Esan Central/Esan East/Igueben Federal Constituency election, Inec bin get issues wit di ballot paper for di election.
