Information on my NIN prove my identity, yet becoss say my old passport carry my married name, I gatz attach my husband passport page or proof of im identity? What if I dey divorced? So I no longer be Nigerian?," X user IjeomaOgood ask di immigration for her page.

According to di NIS, dem say married women from Nigeria no need to attach dia husband passport page if dem want renew dia passport.
Di NIS add say no be official policy and to renew passport dey based on individual identity documents.
"Dey assured say no requirement dey for a married Nigerian woman to attach her husband passport page or proof of im identity in order to renew her passport. Dis be official policy," di immigration clarify.
