For voting day, authorities say di camp of Baba Jamal allegedly dash di National democratic congress (NDC) voters many tins so dem fit vote for am.

General secretary of di party Fiifi Kwetey tok inside dia party statement say, "di party dey aware say vote-buying hapun well well for di primaries for Ayawaso East constituency. We condemn dis tins."

"Di party dey investigate di mata wey we go take quick action against any candidate wey dey guilty."

Fiifi Kwetey add for di statement say, "we dey warn everibody say for di future, if dis tins hapun, we go punish di pipo well well, we fit even cancel di elections sef."

Baba Jamal win di primaries wit 431 votes, wey Amina Adams di pesin wey chop second, get 399 votes.

President Mahama say even though his party di NDC already begin dey investigate, e dey necessary say he for take action sake of dis be public official wey dey involved.

"Di president gatz to take serious action to preserve di integrity of public office and to avoid any perception of impropriety or conflict wit di govment code of conduct for political appointees."
