More info: Here's an opportunity to explore Wallingford, a semi-rural town in South Oxfordshire. You will see rock formations, geological features and plant life around the conservation areas.
Getting there: By bus: You can catch the X39 bus from Oxford City Centre which leaves five minutes past the hour Mon-Sat and takes you into Wallingford town. For further information call Thames Travel on 01491 837988. By car: Drive towards Wallingford Museum, just before you reach the building there is a pay and display car park on your left.
Walk conditions The circular walk is on a level path starting from Wallingford Museum. Paths are of varying width and a mix of tarmac and compacted earth/stone. The walk is wheelchair and buggy friendly.
The castle meadows does require some uphill walking and some steps if walkers want to get right to the top of the Motte.
