Core Concepts ontology

The generic BBC ontology for entities that matter to the BBC and our audiences.

Introduction

Core Concepts is the ontology for representing concepts such as people, places, events, organisations and themes that make sense across the BBC.

This model enables clients to connect their own domain-specific classes – e.g., athletes or politicians – via the rdfs:subClassOf property.
