It’s about giving local people the opportunity to have their say about what’s happening where they live. Meadows Voices will be working full time in the area for the next few months, building up contacts with local people and organisations, finding out what’s going on and joining in. We’re aiming to build a permanent relationship between the Meadows and the BBC to ensure local people are fully involved in the wide range of online features and programming. And we want you to join us. | | Leading the Meadows Voices and hoping to hear from you - Sara Johnston |
You'll decide on the issues we should cover and how you want to cover them. We'll give you access to the airwaves and this website, as well as everything you'll need to get your message across. Our reporters will be happy to share their skills and let you do the talking. | | Voices - helping you get heard |
We know there’s loads of great stuff happening in the Meadows, it’s a vibrant community and we want to hear your stories to help correct any unfair stereotypes of the area. So whether you want to let others know about an event, get a discussion going, talk about your opinions, hopes and dreams, or get involved in the area - get in touch with Meadows Voices!
