P7 pupils organise and lead an enterprise activity at school and KS2 pupils survey a much loved, but now neglected, local landmark. See our ordering page for more information. |  Programme One is about a Year 7 class setting up and running a mini-enterprise called the Eco-Friendly Fair Company. To assist in the organisation of the company the pupils paid a visit to a real company, Johnston Printing in Kilrea. The mini-enterprise is part of a cross-curricular project which took place over a six week half term. |
 | By the end of the programme and activities the students should be able to: - work together as a team recognising the value of cooperation, collaboration and communication
- understand how a business or industry works and its importance to the economy
- have increased financial knowledge and capability
- plan, conduct and participate in interviews
- make and present a business plan using powerpoint
- make objective decisions
- understand a wide range of new terms including company, marketing and finance
- run a mini enterprise
