 |  |  |  |  | This is a unit of two programmes which concentrate on environmental action. We follow the progress of two schools as they work towards an Eco-School award and we explore the debate triggered by a proposed wind farm in North Antrim. |  This programme has the possibility of one of Northern Ireland's largest wind farms being sited off the North Antrim coast, and the debate this has triggered, as its background. Pupils from Portrush Primary School undertake their own investigation into the power of wind and other sources of renewable energy. |
 | By the end of the programme pupils will have had the opportunity to:
find out about a range of energy sources understand the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy resources learn about issues associated with the environment understand the importance of research prepare, conduct and analyse a simple survey - consider and listen to different points of view
- use a wide range of information sources to help them make a balanced decision
