Community Relations Council (CRC)

CRC’s aim is to promote a peaceful and fair society based on reconciliation and mutual respect.

What we do

Provide support (finance, advice, information, resources) for local groups and organisations
Develop opportunities for cross community understanding
Increase public awareness of community relations work
Encourage constructive debate throughout Northern Ireland

Examples of our work

Spanner in the Works Theatre Company received a grant from CRC to assist in the creation and production of a short drama Hello, Does Anyone Care? exploring issues affecting young people. The actors were young adults from different communities across Belfast.
Funded under the Peace II Programme - Sarah Moves On, a 90 minute programme produced for 4Learning by Westway Film Productions Ltd. (Citizenship, Literacy and PSHE for 8-11 year olds)
