Dad

I pause for a moment and think of dad
In loving memory of him
In all good and bad
Having very special moments of him
Remain in my heart that no one can take away
I can hold unto them
When my tears start to come
And when I’m weary I think of dad
I would say I love you
He would say I love you more
Memories of him live on
All his family relatives and friends even people
He met along the path have fond memories
Of him within the heart can live forever
We will love him until the end of time
We will miss him and think of him
Now he is gone his memory lives on
In God’s living presence
Moment by moment
Thank God for my dad
Thank you all for being here today
To share your love and heart
For a very special man
