Stop And Think!

I don't want it!!
It's not my cup!
Move over,
My feet go there!
Stop it,
You're niggling me!!

Breakfast,
Lunch and tea,
And in between!
Not to mention,
The bedtime routine.

Hey, we're not your servants,
You know!
It works both ways,
We've got a life too.
Give my head peace,
I can't hear myself think!

How many times,
Do we fall into this trap?
Again, again and again.
Stop and think!
What are we doing?

Let's talk about this,
Who does what and when.
Team work!
That's the word.
Don't just sit there,
And be overrun.
Get on the ball,
Do something!

We parents are so stupid,
Sometimes,
We just don't think enough,
If we fail to plan,
We plan to fail!

And what about God?
Surely He's interested in all this.
Proverbs,
Plus all those stories,
Of Jacaob and Esau,
Joseph and that lot.
Come on, wake up lad!
