So we say goodbye to Billy
Who threw them out in two's
Old Jordie's broken hearted
Billy's gone and popped his shoes.

He was a goat of great renown

And a famous movie star
Old Billy, he would act the goat
While Jordie, terrorised the bar.

At one time, there was some gossip
That old Billy, might be gay
Old Billy knocked ot two more kids
And the rumours went away.

Where did old Billy learn the skills
To woo the female goat?
Well, old Jordie kept vigara
In the pocket of his coat.

Billy gained a reputation
As the fastet gun in town
Young Billy The Kid, gave a scornful bleat
"I'll take old Billy down".

The two met in a pasture
And eyed each other up
Just one goat, would walk away
Just one, would be the tup.

Old Billy, clawed with cloven hoof
And gave an angry bleat
The two goats charged, with horns down low
God, the sound of cloven feet.

A clash of heads, in the morning sun
Like thunder in the night
Old Billy knew the game was up
Billy The Kid had won the fight

Old Billy passed away that night
Looking into Jordie's face
"I'll keep your horns!" old Jordie cried
"Above the fireplace".

RIP BILLY.
