Many hope that the 1998 Good Friday Agreement has brought 30 years of conflict to an end. The old way of doing politics, which saw a gain for one community as a loss for the other, has been replaced by a political system of power-sharing. However, agreement on paper has not translated into changed hearts, and old ways of thinking still prevail.
