My journey, from the project itself, em, was quite a surprising journey going along there to the Celtic match. It was something which really surprised me ‘cause what I actually thought would have happened when we got there was totally, totally different. I thought we were going to be going off with a group of fellas, maybe singing like, um songs, maybe abusing the other side a little bit, maybe making us as women feel a little bit excluded, but it was a totally different experience.

And they’re really just ordinary guys wanting to go out, enjoy themselves, get away from everything that’s going on at home and normal life. And really what I think now is that it’s people that hide behind the colours of Celtic and the likes of Rangers are the people that actually are getting everything a bad name. It’s not the genuine supporters.

If somebody would have said to me before then would I have went to the Rangers match, I would have probably said no. Cause again, you’ll always feel safe on your own side, you know, if you go off on your own side, you done your research. From the footage that I seen of the other, like the Rangers side, it was exactly the same as going to the Celtic match. If you’d have taken the colour away, you wouldn’t have knew you were like in a different place.
