The heatwave in August was good and bad for the Tweedie Garden. The veg suffered in the heat while shrubs and flowers thrived. John, Valerie and the team reflect on the garden's triumphs and discuss the way forward.

A healthy flower bed.
The strawberry tree is small now but will grow to a fifteen foot spread. Not good for small beds. The compost bin also has a companion that will one day grow very big. Aerial view of the finished garden.
