Split the class into groups and ask each group to look at the cost of cheap fashion on a particular area – the cotton farmers, the environment, the factory workers and the consumer. Each group writes their findings on a piece of A3 paper. When all the groups have finished, circulate the pieces of A3 around the groups so they can look at the other areas and add their own comments if necessary.
Remind children of the articles within the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Ask them to discuss whether they think the fashion industry has infringed on any of these rights.
