Although Hunstanton is on the north Norfolk coast its cliffs face west, making it one of the best sunset vistas in East Anglia. In the summer, the traditional holiday resort records some of the highest sunshine figures in England - hence the nickname 'Sunny Hunny'. As well as the seaside attractions - like pony rides along the sands - the town has a music and art festival which runs through June and July. The Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary is home to otters, penguins and a Seal Hospital, whose team of vets care for sick, injured and orphaned seal pups. | | | | |
