Pet Shop Boys
Pet Shop Boys on Top Of The Pops

Pet Shop Boys at Thetford Forest

Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are coming to Thetford Forest this summer. They're the fourth act confirmed to play this year alongside Embrace, Jamie Cullum and UB40.

Pet Shop Boys will perform an outdoor gig at Thetford Forest on Friday 21 July 2006.

Their new album, Fundamental, was produced by Trevor Horn and has been acclaimed as one of their best ever before it's even been released.

Since scoring their first number one hit with West End Girls in 1986, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have gone on to become the most successful pop duo in history with 36 top twenty hits and 10 top ten albums.

During their career their electro-pop sound has caught the ear of many top names.

They have teamed up with stars including Dusty Springfield, David Bowie, Tina Turner, and Liza Minnelli as well as remixed tracks for Blur and Madonna.

Pet Shop Boys have also proved they can cut it in the open air with appearances at many European festivals including Glastonbury, Roskilde and Benicassim.

The other acts performing at Thetford Forest are UB40 on Friday 9 June, Embrace with support from Morning Runner on Saturday 10 June and Jamie Cullum on Saturday 22 July.

  • Tickets for the High Lodge Visitor Centre, Santon Downham, nr. Brandon are £26 (subject to booking fee). Box office 01842 814612 or use the agency links on the right-hand side of this page.
