If you can't find the information you are looking for on the New Talent site, here are some more useful links that may help you pursue your talent for music, drama, film making and reporting or learn more about the natural world.


Performing
If you want to become an actor/actress it'd be a good idea to get a parent or adult to contact a drama school or agency. There's also a wide range of information published in The Stage and in 'Contacts', a directory published by Spotlight (select 'Our Publications' from the top of the page). Please make sure you look through these with an adult to find the appropriate reputable sites and information you are interested in.

Conservation
In all of the Serious series young explorers have taken part in conservation projects and if you'd like to find out more about helping nature and the environment here are a few suggestions of websites you may like to visit.

BBC Science and Nature animal conservation.

Wildlife Watch is an environmental action club for young people. Taking part in Wildlife Watch is an exciting way to explore your surroundings and get closer to the wildlife you share it with. You can join and have a really wild time! You could become a nature detective, take environmental action and help make a future for wildlife.

Music Making
If you have entered Blue Peter Music Makers you may have already seen the following websites but if not they are well worth a visit and will help you to learn more about musical instruments and find out where to go to for musical based opportunities.

Learn more about the woodwind, strings, brass, percussion and keyboards sections of the orchestra as well as the conductor in the BBC guide to the orchestra.
