After winning 2003's Sports Reporter scheme London born Nelson got to travel to Athens to report on the Paralympics in 2004. He is still working for the BBC as a reporter and producer, mainly for radio.

Since winning 2002's Science Presenter scheme, Hermione Cockburn has found herself presenting and contributing to programmes both on radio and TV. In 2005 Hermione joined the team on 'Rough Science' as their earth sciences expert.

Sarah-Leigh Barnett was one of the winners in the 2003 search for weather presenters in the English regions. After her initial contract Sarah-Leigh was awarded an additional contract as a weather presenter/reporter for BBC East Midlands Today.
