Children's voices will be listened to over social media ban decision, says government

The UK government are discussing whether there should be stronger rules about children's access to social media - including an Australia-style ban for under-16s.

They plan to "seek views from parents, young people and civil society" to see if a ban would be effective.

Nina took some school children to meet the person in charge of the consultation and online safety in the UK, MP Kanishka Narayan.

He told the children their voices "will be at the heart" of any decision made.
