Diving for treasure on a 4,700-year-old shipwreck

Have you ever wanted to go diving for hidden treasure?

Off the coast of Turkey, archaeologists have discovered the world's oldest shipwreck, which they think dates from around the same time that the Great Pyramid was being built.

It's been dated to between 4,400 and 4,700 years old!

BBC's science editor Rebecca Morelle met Hakan Öniz, from Akdeniz University in Turkey, who led the expedition and Dr Karin Sowada, an archaeologist from Macquarie University, Australia, who gave the lowdown about what might have been stored in the ancient pots brought up from the surface.
