If you can't wait for the Strictly Come Dancing final this weekend and need a hit of ballroom glamour, BBC iPlayer has waltzed behind the scenes at the nation's biggest ballroom dance competition.

The British National Dance Championships in Blackpool celebrated its fiftieth anniversary last month with five hundred dances, two thousand entrants and more sequins than sand on Blackpool beach.

Eleven-year-olds Chloe and Leo took to the floor in two categories - juvenile Latin and juvenile ballroom.

We went to see how they did!
