Kirsty Muir

Skier Kirsty Muir from Aberdeen won both a gold and a silver medal at the 2026 X Games.
The 21-year-old won gold with a score of 93.66 in the first of her three runs in freeski slopestyle.
On winning gold, Muir said: "It's an absolute dream come true."
She was just pipped to the top spot in the big air event, which is when athletes perform a trick on a single jump and are judged for the difficulty and style of their performance.
The Scottish skier will be one to look out for at the Winter Olympics next month.
Mia Brookes

Mia Brookes also left the 2026 X Games with two medals, a gold and a bronze.
Brookes, who's from Cheshire, secured victory in the women's snowboard slopestyle with a score of 96.33.
Brookes said: "It feels pretty great to win. I'm super hyped - wasn't expecting it. I just came in wanting to have a good time and we got there in the end."
Her bronze medal came in the big air event.
She is the youngest world champion in snowboarding history, and hopes are high for her to bring home the gold at her first Winter Olympics in Italy.
Zoe Atkin

Zoe Atkin won gold in the women's freeski superpipe competition - an event she previously won in 2023.
She claimed victory with a score of 94.66, beating Australian Indra Brown by 4.66 points.
The 23-year-old made her professional debut at 14 years old and hopes to follow in her older sister's footsteps in winning a medal at this year's Winter Olympics.
