Send us YOUR questions on President Trump and Greenland
What's going on with Greenland?
- Published
Greenland has been in the news a lot lately.
A huge island in the Arctic, Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Recently, many countries have been talking about it because of politics and world security.
Donald Trump the President of the United States has said publicly that he wants the US to control Greenland - saying it's important strategically for the US military and any threat posed by Russia and China.
But Greenland's government, Denmark and other European countries such as the UK, say Greenland should decide its own future.
Some world leaders have warned the US - which is threatening taxes (called tariffs) against European countries that disagree with his plans - that what they plan to do is not a good idea and could hurt cooperation.
If you have a question about what's happening, we will try and get as many answered by a BBC journalist covering the story, as possible.
