Buckingham Palace has shared the news that Princess Beatrice is pregnant with her second child.
Beatrice and her partner, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, plan to welcome the new baby into their family "early in the new year".
The new baby will become 11th in line to the throne with Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, moving down to 12th place.
King Charles II has been informed and both families are “delighted”, the Palace said.

Princess Beatrice is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in 2022.
The new baby will be the 14th great-grandchild of the late queen, after Beatrice's sister gave birth to a baby boy named Ernest last year.
She is the eldest daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
