One of the rarest and most sought-after Pokémon cards in the world has just sold for a record-breaking amount.
The Pikachu Illustrator card sold for a whopping $16,492,000 (just over £12 million) after 41 days of bidding.
It belonged to American influencer and wrestler Logan Paul, who bought it for $5.275 million (£3.8 million) in July 2021.
At the time this also broke a Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold.

Logan Paul wore it at his first WWE match at Wrestle Mania 38 in Texas
He went on to spend thousands of dollars on a custom gold chain and case to keep it safe, which he wore around his neck in his first ever WWE match.
Logan Paul has said he plans to hand deliver the card to its winning bidder.
Why is this Pokémon card so popular?

Pikachu has been the mascot of the Pokémon games and series for many years
The Pikachu Illustrator card is popular with collectors because it was designed by Atsuko Nishida, who is credited as the original creator of Pikachu.
The ultra-rare card was not available to buy, but was instead given away as a prize in a 1998 illustration competition.
It's believed around 40 of the cards were made, but Logan Paul's is the only one known to be given a grading of PSA 10, which means it's in the best possible condition it could be.
