All the cutest pics from the British Wildlife Photography Awards

This adorable sleepy swan has picked up the Young British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2026 award in a contest full of cuteness.

Showing a mute swan cygnet - which is the word for a young swan - sleeping on its sibling's back, photographer Ben Lucas said it was "an adorable moment to witness".

"A whole family of mute swans swam up to me as I was quietly sitting on the bank of a beautiful lake. They all lay down for a rest right beside me."

Ben scooped the overall top youth prize and the 15-17 years category, but what about the other amazing photos?
