BBC Radio 1 Breakfast presenter Greg James is taking on a massive challenge for Red Nose Day and he needs your help!

Greg will be swapping his morning tunes and celeb chats with a gruelling challenge that will take him right across the UK.

He'll be cycling 1000km on a tandem bike and sets off from Weymouth, in Dorset, today.

The journey will see him leave the south of England and cross through Wales before ending up in Edinburgh on Red Nose Day on 29 March.

However, he won't be doing it alone, Greg will be joined by some familiar Radio 1 faces, as he spends at least eight hours a day on the bike.

This isn't the first time he's taken on a challenge for Comic Relief, who are the charity behind Red Nose Day.

In 2016, the DJ completed five triathlons in five days in five different cities across the UK - in a challenge called the 'Gregathlon'.

In 2018 he cycled over 800km and climbed mountains Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis - and famously said he'd never do a challenge like this again.

When asked why he agreed to do it again, Greg said: "Well, here I am again - I honestly thought I would never be so silly to say yes to Comic Relief again, but why not make it a hat-trick?!"
