Dame Prue Leith leaves The Great British Bake Off

Dame Prue Leith has announced she won't be returning to The Great British Bake Off tent.
She's been a judge on the show with Paul Hollywood for almost a decade, after replacing Dame Mary Berry in 2017.
She made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, calling Bake Off a "fabulous" part of her life.
Channel 4, who make the show, haven't announced who will be replacing her yet.

When she made the post on Instagram, Dame Prue wrote: "Now feels like the right time to step back (I'm 86 for goodness sake!)"
She added: "There's so much I'd like to do."
She also said she felt "lucky" to have been a part of the show - but that she was excited to spend more time in her garden in the summer.

Lots of people have been writing tributes to Dame Prue on social media after hearing the news.
On Instagram, her co-star and fellow judge Paul Hollywood wrote: "You're the best, Prue!"
Jasmine Mitchell, who won Bake Off in 2025, called Dame Prue "amazing." She added: "We will miss you so very much."
Dr Rahul Mandal, who was 2018's winner, said: "It was a joy and privilege to be in the tent with you. You are kind, funny passionate and always inspired us."
