Lando Norris races for McLaren, a team who went into this final race with some challenges to overcome. Both Lando and his teammate Oscar Piastri were disqualified at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, followed up by some tactics setbacks in Qatar.

The final race took place at Abu Dhabi, capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The final grand prix of the F1 has been held there since 2014, and it will continue to host the season's end until at least 2030.

Red Bull's star driver Max Verstappen was comfortably in first place during the Grand Prix, but was too far behind in points to win the overall season title.

One of the most dramatic moments for Lando was when he overtook Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda after his first pit stop. Lando's car edged slightly off track during the move, and so it was investigated by the stewards, who didn't give the driver a penalty.

Formula 1 races are known for their extremely quick pit stops, where teams help the driver get back on the track by changing their tyres at rapid speed. F1 teams can do this in around two seconds, with McLaren holding the 1.8 second world record.

After his second pit stop, Lando successfully battled Ferrari's Charles Leclerc for third place, coming behind his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.

It was a very emotional victory for Lando, who cried as he thanked his team and his parents. He said: "I've dreamed of this for a long, long time. Everyone does... A lot goes into a season like this, a lot of ups, a lot of downs. But none of that matters as long as you try and come out on top, and that's what we have managed to do."
