Biffy Clyro have been announced as one of the headliners of Download 2017 and are "itching" to get back to the festival.
Bassist James Johnston said: "It's really exiting to be a part of it again.
"I don't know if you ever get used to doing an event like that and going back to Download is a real honour."
The Scottish trio will top the bill at Donington Park with System of a Down and Aerosmith.

System of a Down will also headline in 2017
Other names on the bill include Slayer, Simple Plan and Prophets of Rage.
Biffy Clyro played at the first edition of Download Festival France last year but haven't performed at the UK version since 2012.

James said the fans turning out when the site is "pretty wet" makes Download a special gig for bands.
"The crowd are real music fans. They don't go there because it's fashionable or it's cool and that certainly fits the way we feel as a band.
"We've played at lots of different festivals and you're not always sure how the sort of ballads are going to go down but it's always nice to see guys in black T-shirts with their arms around each other having a great time."

James suggested Biffy Clyro will stick to their theme of being joined by flames on stage
He added that they're planning on stepping up their stage show this time around.
"I don't want to give away our secrets just yet but there're probably going to be some fire involved - I think it's time to burn a drum kit.
"But ultimately it's still all about the songs and we're really proud of the songs we've got.
"There's always a lot of pressure but we thrive on that.
"Nobody wants us to put on a better show than we do."
