Mixed martial arts fighter Jordan Parsons has died at the age of 25 after being hit by a car in Florida.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jordan Parsons," wrote Bellator MMA, external, the company he worked for.
Delray Beach Police are appealing for information about the driver, who didn't stop after hitting Parsons.
"Investigators are urging the hit-and-run driver to contact them and give his side of the story," the force tweeted.

MMA promoter Scott Coker wrote in a statement: "Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport. But more importantly, he was an exceptional young man.
"Jordan was hard-working, dedicated, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. He represented all the reasons we love this sport.
"It is a terribly tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and teammates."
Jordan Parsons had a number of medical and surgical procedures in an attempt to save his life, including having one of his legs amputated.
An online funding page has been set up to help his family with the cost of medical bills.
"Though Jordan fought very hard, tragically, his life was cut short as a result of his injuries," it says.
"As a result [of the surgeries], his family will be left with the extreme burden of medical debt, as well as the cost of a proper burial service.
"Being a young, up-and-coming athlete, Jordan simply did not have the funds available to help his family cover these debts."
Parsons (11-2) signed with Bellator in 2014.
He had a featherweight fight planned for 14 May in San Jose, California.
