Steve Aoki is being sued by a fan who claims a stage dive by him broke her neck.
The EDM star is alleged to have jumped off the stage into a blow-up dinghy during a show at the Hard Rock Café in San Diego.
Brittany Hickman told ABC 10News she was underneath the dinghy and was knocked unconscious.
She told the California news channel it happened in 2012, and her injuries left her unable to work for two months.
Steve Aoki has issued a statement through his lawyer, saying: "I would never want anyone to get hurt at any of my shows and feel badly that someone has."
He added: "At this time I have been advised by my attorneys to not speak about this as it's going to trial. Thank you for your understanding."

Steve Aoki is known for his stage antics which include throwing cakes into fans' faces, and using rafts to crowd surf.
Brittany Hickman told ABC 10News: "I was trapped underneath the pool raft because they threw it out right where I was standing.
"My friends told me he landed on top of the pool raft, hit me on top of the head and I got knocked over," she said.
After the gig Brittany went to hospital, where doctors told her she could have been paralysed.
Steve Aoki's lawyer Peter Doody has confirmed to Newsbeat that the lawsuit has been filed against Aoki and the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, and the trial is scheduled for 28 August.
