Will.i.am has announced a UK arena tour for later this year.

The Black Eyed Peas singer will play three dates starting at The Manchester Arena on 3 December.

The Voice coach will then perform at Birmingham's LG Arena on 4 December with a final show at London's O2 the following night.

The live shows are part of will.i.am's European solo tour following a string of performances across the US and Canada.

Will.i.am's latest single Bang Bang, which is featured on The Great Gatsby soundtrack, is number five in the chart after spending eight weeks in the top 40.

His most recent solo album, #willpower, went to number three in the UK Official Album Chart when it was released in April.

The first two singles from the album This is Love and Scream & Shout featuring Britney Spears both topped the UK chart while #thatPower featuring Justin Bieber went in at number two.

Will.i.am was a judge on the first two series of The Voice but has refused to comment on whether he will return for a third.

Fellow coaches Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue have already said they won't be taking part and there's no word fro Sir Tom Jones.

Tickets for will.i.am's tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 26 July.
