Name?
Kate Milnes.
How old are you?
28.
Where do you live?
Oldham.
What do you do?
I'm a maths teacher.
Kids?
None - though I'd like to start a family soon.
Why haven't you voted before?
It's never really been something that interested me. I've never understood the impact it has on me personally. Now though, thinking about having kids has made me think much more about who runs the country.
What's the big issue for you in this election?
The children that I teach. Someone needs to stop the 13 or 14-year-olds of this country having some of the same problems faced by some of the older 16 to 25-year-olds. What are they going to put in place to stop debt and unemployment for young people in the future.
What's the first thing you'd do as Prime Minister?
I'd have a look at education. We are measured far too much on just exam results.
They want us to teach pupils how to live in our society and yet the major way they measure us is from exam results - that's very important from my point of view.
