The Iroquois, a Native American tribe, has had its lacrosse team banned from entering the UK. British officials say they cannot recognise passports issued by the Iroquois Confederacy.
The US had cleared them to travel at the behest of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Players had been given a "one-time-only waiver" by the state department to make the trip without US passports.
