Sunil Tripathi's sister on impact of social media accusations

Sangeeta Tripathi speaks to the BBC about the impact of false accusations about her missing brother and his role in the Boston marathon bombings.

Sunil Tripathi has been missing since March 16 after leaving home without his mobile phone and wallet.

Social news site Reddit's Find Boston Bombers thread - known as a subreddit - named specific people standing near the scene as suspects.

They included innocent people such as 22-year-old Mr Tripathi and 17-year-old Salah Barhoun.

Reddit has issued a public apology for its coverage.

Ms Tripathi said her family were "weathered spirits" and spoke about how fast the unsubstantiated claims had spread.
